Terms of use
Last updated 31 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of VeraWay ("VeraWay", "we") about using the VeraWay app and this website. By creating an Account you accept them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app; where the two differ, these terms apply between you and VeraWay. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for VeraWay.
Who can use VeraWay
You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms yourself. One Account per person.
Your Account
You sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email. Keep access to that sign-in method safe: anyone who can use it can use your Account. You can delete your Account at any time from the Account screen in the app; the privacy policy says what that removes.
What VeraWay does, and what it doesn't
VeraWay suggests a plan for your days in a city and lets you reshape it. It is a planning aid, not a travel agent or a guide.
- Check what matters before you rely on it. VeraWay checks the places it suggests, but places close, change their hours, sell out and move. Travel times between Stops are estimates. When VeraWay couldn't check something, it says so, but it can't promise every detail is right.
- Your safety is yours to judge. VeraWay doesn't assess whether a place or a route is safe for you, accessible to you, or allowed where you are.
- Bookings you tell VeraWay about stay yours. VeraWay plans around the flights, tables and other bookings you give it, as you give them. It doesn't check them with the airline or venue.
Trips and Trip Credits
Creating a Trip uses a Trip Credit. A Trip covers one city for up to 7 Days.
- Your first Trip of up to 3 Days is free, once per Account and once per iPhone.
- More Trips are bought in the app: one at a time or in bundles, which never expire, or with a subscription, which gives a set number of Trips each month. Unused subscription Trips don't carry over to the next month. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- A credit is used when a Trip's first plan is built successfully. If building fails, nothing is used. Deleting a Trip doesn't return its credit.
- Each Trip includes a set number of re-plans, conversational requests to rebuild a Day: 5 on a paid Trip and 2 on a free one. Your own direct changes, such as moving or removing a Stop, are unlimited.
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store under Apple's terms. Apple handles payment, cancellations and refunds: cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings, and ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the Trips it paid for stay readable but can no longer be changed, re-planned, checked, exported or have their dates changed. They unlock if the refund is reversed, or if you use another credit on them.
Partners and links marked Ad
Some links open a Partner that sells tickets, tours, stays or trip extras, and pays VeraWay a commission if you buy. How we choose explains them. Anything you buy from a Partner is a contract between you and that Partner, on its terms. VeraWay isn't the seller and isn't responsible for the Partner's products, prices, availability or service.
Using VeraWay fairly
Don't misuse VeraWay. In particular, don't:
- use it to break the law or to harm anyone;
- try to get more free Trips than one, for example with several Accounts;
- copy, scrape or resell VeraWay's plans, places or data, or use them to build a competing service;
- interfere with VeraWay's servers, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
VeraWay may limit or close an Account that breaks these rules. If we close an Account for any other reason, you'll be refunded for unused paid Trips where the law requires it.
What belongs to whom
The app, its plans and its writing belong to VeraWay or its licensors; you may use them for your own trips. What you tell VeraWay stays yours, and you let VeraWay use it to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes. Some content comes from others, such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap and Wikimedia Commons, under their own terms; the credits name them.
Liability
VeraWay is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, VeraWay isn't liable for losses that come from relying on a plan, such as a missed connection, a closed venue or a booking with a Partner. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to what you paid VeraWay in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and ending
VeraWay may change these terms. If a change matters, the app tells you before it takes effect, and you can delete your Account if you don't accept it. You can stop using VeraWay at any time.
