How we choose
What goes in your plan
Every Stop in your plan is chosen for being Worthy, Verified and a fit, in that order.
- Worthy: VeraWay judges, for you and this Trip, whether a place genuinely earns its slot. The test is what a local would recommend, not what has the most reviews.
- Verified: the place is in an authoritative record, not just a model's memory, and nothing VeraWay has checked contradicts it. A place a check shows has closed for good is never a Stop.
- A fit: it suits how you travel, who you're travelling with, the season, and the rest of the Day.
No one pays to be in your plan. VeraWay doesn't sell places in it, and it never sells your data.
Links marked Ad
Some buttons end in the word Ad, such as "Tickets · Ad", "Find a stay · Ad" and "Airport transfer · Ad". Each one opens a Partner: a company that sells you a ticket, a tour, a stay or a trip extra. If you buy through it, the Partner pays VeraWay a commission. Buying through a link marked Ad never changes the price you pay.
You buy from the Partner, on its own site or app, under its terms. VeraWay never takes your payment for travel.
A commission only ever decides between equals
A commission never decides which place becomes a Stop, and it never moves a better place out of the way. It comes in only after the Worthy judgment, Verified and fit, when the planner has no preference left between two options:
- when two options are equally good, the one VeraWay can check more fully goes first;
- only then does a commission count, and it asks only whether an option has a Partner link, never how much it pays.
Which Partner sells the ticket for a Stop is not decided by commission either. VeraWay picks a real entry ticket for that place, then the lower price, then free cancellation, and only then a fixed order of Partners, Viator first.
Who VeraWay links to
- Viator and Tiqets: tickets and tours for Stops.
- GetYourGuide: "Things to do" in your city.
- Stay22: where to stay. Stay22 picks the booking site: it sends you on to a site such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda or Trip.com, and VeraWay doesn't choose which.
- Kiwitaxi: airport transfers.
- Discover Cars: car hire.
- Omio: trains.
- Airalo: eSIMs.
Some of these pay VeraWay through an affiliate network, Travelpayouts or Impact.
In plain words
VeraWay earns money from links marked Ad. That money never buys a place in your plan or a better position in it. When VeraWay has no reason to prefer one option over another, it will pick the one that earns it a commission.
