Help
VeraWay plans your days in a city, and lets you reshape them by talking to it. This page covers what you can do and where to find it. If something here doesn't answer your question, write to us.
Your first Trip
- Pick a city and your dates. VeraWay tells you if it can fill fewer days in that city than you asked for.
- Sign in with Apple, Google or your email.
- Answer a few questions about how you travel. This happens once, on your first Trip. VeraWay remembers the answers for every Trip after it.
- Say where you're staying, or tap "I haven't booked yet".
- Add anything you've already booked: a flight, a train, a table, a show, a timed entry.
- Tap Build my plan. It takes a little while, and VeraWay lets you know when it's ready.
A Trip covers one city for up to 7 days. Your first Trip of up to 3 days is free.
Reading a Day
Each Day is a list of Stops in the order you'll visit them, morning, afternoon and evening, with a map above. Bookings you added sit in the Day at their times, and VeraWay plans around them without moving them.
- The short line under a Stop says why it fits your Day. Tap Why here? to see what people say about the place. That needs a connection.
- "Usually 16–23°" is the weather the date usually has in that city. About a week before the Day, it becomes the forecast.
- A small chip such as "Hours" means VeraWay couldn't check something, such as today's opening hours. Tap it to see what and why. It doesn't mean anything is wrong.
- A Day that can't work, for example when you can't reach a booking in time, is marked so you can fix it.
Changing a Day
You can change a Day in two ways.
- Change it yourself: drag a Stop to move it, swap it, or remove it. These changes happen straight away, and there's no limit on them.
- Ask VeraWay: say what you want, such as "slower morning" or "more food markets on Saturday". VeraWay prepares a new version of that Day and shows it to you. Tap Apply to use it, or Discard to keep the Day as it was. VeraWay never changes a Day without asking.
Each Trip includes 5 of these requests to rebuild a Day, or 2 on a free Trip, shared across all its Days. A request counts even if you discard the result.
Keep here pins a Stop to its part of the day, so a rebuild doesn't move it. Stops you added yourself are never dropped by a rebuild, but they can move unless you Keep them here.
When the forecast for a Day turns out different from what the Day was planned for, VeraWay may offer to rework it. Accepting uses one of the Trip's requests to rebuild a Day; saying no costs nothing.
Where to stay
If you haven't booked a place to stay, VeraWay plans from the city centre. Once your plan is built, it suggests the area where your Stops cluster, with a link to search for a stay there. When you enter where you're staying, VeraWay plans your days from there.
On the road
- Open in Google Maps sends a Day's Stops, in order, to Google Maps for directions.
- Without a connection, the app still shows your last-synced plan, read-only. Changes and "Why here?" come back when you're online.
Links marked Ad
Some buttons end in "Ad", such as "Tickets · Ad". They open a Partner that sells tickets, tours, stays or extras, and VeraWay earns a commission if you buy, at no cost to you. Tap "Ad" to read How we choose.
Your Account
The Account screen shows how many Trips you have left, lets you buy more, and lets you read or edit what VeraWay knows about how you travel, or start it over. It's also where you turn emails on or off, restore a subscription, and delete your Account.
